Happiness Unplugged...

World equates happiness with fun... :)

Indeed, it is true… but the real meaning of happiness can be construed as “contentment”. You just need to follow your heart and be true to yourself... and there you attain "Happiness"! Isn't it simple! The things that you do in life may be little or big – but the ones that bring true pleasure to your heart are the ones that "touch your heart".

It can be as small a thing like watching birds flying in the sky… or as big something like achieving your project goals. Happiness is just unlimited!

My people know it well enough that I am a happy-go-lucky kind-a-person. But then, there are certain things that I love so much without which my entire existence would be meaningless... these are the things ones which give me complete contentment...

I love to build "Love Connections"...
For me, nothing is as beautiful as "True Relations"
~Jyotika Rajput Mehra Quotes

It gives me immense pleasure in making my special people happy. My family and friends are my true strength… I am happy in their happiness and sad in their sadness! And when there’s anything if I could do to please them, I just do it even if I have to go out of the way.

I feel it's my responsibility to take care of my dear ones! Whenever in need, I am always there for them – not being judgemental but being a companion with whom they share their heart out!

Gifting is perhaps my favourite gesture that reflects my affection… else just being with them is a “perfect gift” for me! I eagerly wait to have great meet-ups… After all, Happiness is all about being with our loved ones!

I wish if I had wings, I could fly to liberate above the pain…
Nonetheless, I have feet, and I dance to forget my worries in the dancing lane…
~Jyotika Rajput Mehra Quotes

Dance – my passion completely fills my heart with tantalising joy and bliss. Hence, I never leave a single chance to miss out on my favourite craze. Be it home, DJ floor or disc, I make it a fair deal to tap non-stop.

Though a born dancer, I must say I am grateful to my dance guru, Shiamak Davar, and his instructors – Atul Mehtani, Anubhav Sharma, Anusha Sawhney, Ashish Agrawal, Vineet, Tanzeel and Ridhi. Having learnt the awesomely wonderful styles just elates my senses and makes me feel on the 9th cloud. God! There’s a magnanimous amount of zeal and enthusiasm when these guys showcase their talent.

Travel and go places... Its worth your start...
Go and explore... The world is so full of art...
                                                                                                             ~Jyotika Rajput Mehra Quotes

Travelling to exotic locales, attending fun-filled events, going to live music concerts and knowledgeable seminars is something I crazily look forward to. I am an artist by heart… and I purely carry deep regards for people who are creative and represent art in any form. I even love to organize and host such events whenever any opportunity knocks (at corporate level and leisure club meets).

It's only "Words"... and words are all I have... To take your heart away...
(amazing track by Boyzone)

Poetry makes me blissfully ecstatic… though I love the art of writing too! I am highly grateful to my mentor and friend Rahul Prabhakar, who introduced me to this beautiful world of blogging. I believe words are the best mode of expression! Each time on special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries, I make my best attempts to present my loved ones with a piece of special composition.

Good food, Drinks, Parties, Music, Karaoke, Photography, Bowling, Ping Pong, Sketching are few more items on my platter of "Happiness". :)

In real sense, Happiness is far beyond the materialistic things. I believe true happiness seizes your heart only when you do your deeds without expecting anything in return.

Happiness is simply the best emotion… the best gift ever received by the Almighty in this entire universe! And, undoubtedly we all have right to our share of joys… but, we must never ever sacrifice someone else’s happiness for the sake of ours! That's the true essence of "being human"... that's the true spirit of "being happy"! :)

Celebrating Togetherness...

In ups.. In downs..In smiles.. In frowns..
Your love has always embraced me...
In melancholy of pains..In storms.. In rains..
Your love has always cured me...

In bitterness of time..When there was no sun shine..
Your love has always strengthened me...
You are the reason that I am alive...
Your love is the reason that I survive...

You have made my life’s journey an ethereal retreat...
Kapil you are reason that my heart beats...
~ Jyotika Rajput Mehra Poetry

Togetherness is not just a feeling but a bond… it is not just being physically present with someone but a connection between hearts that goes beyond space and time…!

This is our story of togetherness…

All began from the time when we were pursuing our Master’s programme. I don't know, there was something about him that made every girl go head over heels!

He had been mischievous yet humorous, funny yet wise, senseless yet intelligent- all such traits added to his fanatic fan following! Indeed, Kapil also loved the companionship of those who were like him- Crazy! And… Bang on… “Jab We Met”, the fun just got double!

We participated in dance, fashion shows, and many more activities. Amongst all the teasing and stupid arguments, lied the frolicking fun. Soon, we realised that we had starting enjoying our connection.

Apparently, colleagues, then friends, and gradually lovers... we didn't notice when the trajectory of time brought us together and the love cupid struck our hearts!

Captivated by Kapil's unusual charm, I always desired to spend most of the time with him. This was the beginning of our daily love tryst. Each time while returning home, I wished if I could just stop the time and be with my sweetheart always.

We had the best of our dating times and all the fun that one can imagine! The most exciting part was our Salsa classes. As the world knows, the charisma of Salsa is all about its intimate moves that embraces a couple… no wonder our love blossomed as Salsa spread its magic!

This frivolous journey continued for some time but then soon my joy saw a drowning phase when Kapil had to go to Bangalore for work. Our last date, before he left Delhi, was quite an emotional one- we literally couldn’t stop our tears- we were tensed wondering that how long would it take to face such solitude! And actually thereafter, days just became lifeless! Though, we always encouraged each other, we knew this phase was crucial for the sake of building our careers, but... we badly missed each other!

I too started looking for a job in Bangalore. It took me seven long months to do so… It was a difficult time for both of us- in fact a time when we realised how much we love each other and just cannot stay without being together!

Finally, after a hoopla of melodrama (that is expected in case of most of the love marriages in India), in May 2010, we decided to tie a knot, build a home and be each other’s forever!

Me and My Love :)
People say... it’s great to be in love with someone… but, you are absolutely lucky if that “someone” loves you back…!

The spell of ever evolving fashion has charmed each community by its aura – be it the common mass, movie stars, artists or sports players.

The role models of gen-next are redefining the appeal factor. Apart from learning the latest game techniques, enhancing the prowess and embracing a healthy lifestyle, the players have added a new feather in their Cricket Cap… and that is the “Style Statement”!

There was a time when glamour and cricket were considered to be two different accounts but now the genres seem to be so synonymous that it creates a whole lot of hoopla around in the social media.

The retro players concentrated predominantly over the game, looks being a subtle reflection of their personal style. However, the current day players find it significant to catch up with the latest fashion trends; be it hair, apparel, accessories, footwear or technology - the cricketers have donned it all. The focus is tremendously on good looks and great body!

Style is all about the way someone talks, walks, eats, speaks, writes, behaves, etc. Being an extremely essential element today, style has marked its foray from the conventional era to the modern day where our idols have transcended their line of business. With a much more polished personality and a refined lingo, they now host events, anchor shows, endorse brands, and promote print media; they act, sing and dance in TV commercials, and sometimes even in movies.

With the fever of Cricket World Cup catching upon in every four years, our doting champions make us crazy by their obsequious efforts to showcase their style. Undoubtedly, the gen-next players have made an effervescent impact on the paparazzi and the cricket buffs - they are absolutely trendy, geeky and more fashion-conscious than before… and they commit to continue staying in style!

The World Remade…

God created us - innocent, virtuous and pure,
He infused love in our heart for each problem’s cure,
He gave us family, friends and loved ones for our support,
Isn’t that sufficient to present him an ode?

Mother Nature made us courageous, wise and strong,
She granted the gift of humanity along,
Then why our belief in our creator shakes,
Where are we all running without taking a break?
Why are we all so engrossed in hypocrisy, deception, malice and greed?
Why are we ourselves withering our own world and planting the weeds?
Can our world be again remade?
~ Jyotika Rajput Mehra Poetic Quotes

Mother Earth | Image Source
Tic Toc Tic Toc… the needles of the clock beckon life to move on… dawn waits for dusk, dusk awaits the dawn… and the life just moves on… Here, in the era of technology, my heart skips a beat to meet the fast paced time.

Welcome to the world of 21st century where money holds more value than relationships… where ego super cedes love… where smiles are plastic and emotions are fake… where things are being loved and people are being used…!

Fellas, today’s post is about being the creator and originating such a utopian world where every single problem would find a definite solution. But my remark upon this is – isn't it being already done by God, our creator? Didn't the Mother Nature present a beautiful world in its sheer pristine form?

It is not about the creator who creates an “oh so perfect” world… it is all about the habitants who make it a liveable place! Almighty has already done his job of creating a wonderful world. Now, it is we, his people who have to preserve this place by obeying to the Mother Nature!

It is said our world begins from our own home, certainly… we adore, love and find peace in our home. But, what if our home is on the verge of extinction? What if it could just be blown away or shattered the very next moment? What would we do to save it? The answer indeed is - whatever it takes…!

Gosh! Just a mere thought crunches our nerves… Ironically, it is not a thought but a rancorous reality! Our home, our planet Earth, will extinct too soon, lest the human race does not begin to care and love it the same way it has loved us since origin!

Time has come that we become seriously considerate about saving our world, our habitat, our home sweet home, our Earth! No matter, whatever it takes, we have to protect it… we have to shun all the malevolent acts which are harming our Mother Nature and consequently resulting in disastrous tsunamis, famines, floods, earth quakes, etc.

We cannot just surpass the presents bestowed upon us – the rivers, oceans, forests, mountains, deserts – they all are calling us to be their saviours! River beds are getting dry, mountainous zones are getting frequent land slides, seasons  are getting extremely unpredictable! Let us altogether face this giant monster – Global Warming! This is the absolute need of the hour and and this is what will create a new world. It is simply not about one person, it is about each one of us - we all have to collaborate to save our world... to save the human race... to be the new creators... only then can be our "World Remade"!

Here are few endeavours we must do to show kindness towards our Earth as well as human race:
  • Save Water, it is too precious to be wasted!
  • Harvest rain water and use solar energy.
  • Save the endangered species.
  • Implement cleanliness, do not throw garbage out of bins.
  • Use public transport to lessen the air pollution.
  • Substitute CNG with petrol and diesel.
  • Use insecticides and pesticides sparingly to enhance the soil futility.
